October 9th, 2026 | Rev. Angie Long

Memorial Family,
As we continue our stewardship journey together, I invite you to begin praying now about your 2027 pledge commitment. Stewardship is about much more than finances. It is about faithfully responding to all that God has entrusted to us. On Commitment Sunday, October 25th, we will have the opportunity to dedicate our pledges and recommit ourselves to God's work through Memorial.
Stewardship touches every part of life. We can be good stewards of our financial resources through generosity. We can be good stewards of our time and spiritual gifts by actively participating in the life of our church and community. We can be good stewards of our families and personal well-being by investing in relationships and planning for the future. Join us for the Wesley Dinner Club on October 15th, hosted by our Endowment Committee, as we discuss how to faithfully care for our families and finances so that our values and generosity continue to make a difference long after we are gone.
In the weeks ahead, I encourage you to look for ways to engage. Join us for the Walk for Water, attend Charge Conference, bring your favorite recipe to the Chili Cook-Off, volunteer at the Fall Festival, or find another place to serve and connect. Each act of participation is an offering of gratitude and faithfulness.
God has entrusted each of us with gifts, resources, abilities, and opportunities. The question before us is not whether we have something to offer, but how we will use what God has given. May we be people through whom God's blessings continue to flow, for the sake of our church, our community, and God's kingdom.
Blessings,
Pastor Angie
