Wesley Dinner Club

Each third Thursday of the month enjoy a delicious catered meal and learn something new! Our pastors are joined by guest speakers each month who bring timely topics, infomration about our connection, and real-life experiences to the forefront. Past topics have been Connection and Mission in the United Methodist Church, Feeding Our Area Hungry, Black History and Leadership, the Immigrant's Experience, The Future of the Church, Generational Changes, and more.

This Month at the Wesley Dinner Club Program:

Learn more about wills, estates, and the laws that may affect you when you come to our next Wesley Dinner Club, October 15th. The program is called "What Happens to my Kids, My Pets, and My Stuff When I Die?" and it is timely information for us at any stage of our lives. We've invited local attorney Manny Moreno to join us. He has been practicing locally for over 10 years after serving in the Navy. He knows his stuff about wills, estates, and the special laws that we need to know about in the states of Florida and Georgia. He’s going to walk us through some basics we need to be thinking about, some other things that we may not have thought about, and there will be lots of time for questions, too!

Dinner begins at 5:30PM and is $15 per person with an RSVP. Kids and youth eat free and there will be childcare for 6th grade and under. The menu, catered by Karen, is her yummy lasagna, salad, and dessert. The program will begin at 6:00PM.

Please RSVP for dinner (and if you need childcare) by Tuesday, October 13th.
