Missions at Memorial
#LoveShowsUp
This is how we describe our congregation's dedication to serving in our community and world. Mission is an essential part of what it means to be a follower of Jesus and is an important part of our life at Memorial. We strive to help love show up in our schools, neighborhoods, and around the world, and God invites us to participate with what God is doing in those places.
Memorial partners with organizations in our local community and in other countries who are also doing God's work. We support our mission partners through hands-on service and financial contributions.

Downtown to the Dunes: Community Cleanup

Saturday, May 9th, 8:30AM - 10:30AM
On May 9th, Memorial will be participating
in the annual Downtown to the Dunes
community cleanup event! Each year,
community groups get together to help
clean up our streets and common areas from
downtown at the docks to the dunes of our
beaches. And we are part of the crew assigned
to the area right around our church!
Front Street to 8th Street between Ash and Alachua!
All those participating can meet at First Love Brewing (located just across from Trinity) for a continental breakfast provided by the sponsors at 8:30AM. After that, we’ll pick up our supplies and get to work downtown! All you need to remember is to wear your red love shows up shirt, bring a water bottle, some work gloves, and wear closed-toed shoes.
