Missions at Memorial

This is how we describe our congregation's dedication to serving in our community and world. Mission is an essential part of what it means to be a follower of Jesus and is an important part of our life at Memorial. We strive to help love show up in our schools, neighborhoods, and around the world, and God invites us to participate with what God is doing in those places.

Memorial partners with organizations in our local community and in other countries who are also doing God's work. We support our mission partners through hands-on service and financial contributions.

Join us for Memorial’s Morning of Service and on Saturday, September 19th! Memorial is going out into the community to alongside 4 different mission partners and you can PICK the mission you wish to work with: Hope House, Hosana Helpers, Micah’s Place of Angels Unaware!

 

Pick Micha’s Place and and help at the Purple Dove resale shop in Yulee for the morning.

Pick Hosanna Helpers and work with one of our newest mission partners as they do some light repair work on a home on the island.

Or you can pick the Hope House on the island for a morning help serve fresh breakfast and warm conversation to those In our area who are unhoused.

Or pick to spend the morning at Angels Unaware, helping to stock their shop in Yulee with furniture and appliances so that our previously unhouse neighbors can shop for free for items to help them as they get back on their feet into new housing.


This is a two-hour commitment and you need to RSVP to

Missions @mumconline.com to RSVP which of the 4 locations you would like to help with. 

Funded Missions: Missions supported by our church family throughout the year through Hands-on activities, designated donations, and a distribution from our General Missions Fund.
