January's Hands-on Mission

Each year we help our neighbors prune the citrus trees in their yard of extra fruit that might otherwise go to waste and then we take it to local feeding Ministries who welcome the donations for their clients.

First, we're looking for people who have trees that we can harvest fruit from. To sign up your trees or your neighbor trees with permission call the church or email missions@mumconline.com/ (Need us to call your neighbor for you ang get permission to pick their fruit? A mission volunteer will be happy to do that!)

Second, if you are interested in helping us harvest the fruit, get your red #LoveShowsUp shirts ready, find some gardening gloves, and join us Saturday, January 11th from 9:00AM till noon. Justin will let us know where the trees are that we can pick from as the day gets closer. So email missions@mumconline.com to get involved in picking the fruit and find out the location to meet on January 11th!

Need a red #LoveShowsUp shirt? Contact the church office!!

Mission is an essential part of what it means to be a follower of Jesus and is an important part of our life at Memorial. We believe that God is active and present outside of our church walls in our schools, neighborhoods, and around the world, and God invites us to participate with what God is doing in those places. We describe this partnership with the phrase "Love Shows Up."

Memorial seeks to partner with organizations in our local community and in other countries who are doing God's work. We support our mission partners through hands-on service and financial contributions. If you would like to learn more about our missions program, you can contact Justin

Drop in and help make snack and wellness bags for our area homeless: Wednesdays at 11:00AM in Maxwell Hall!
