Dear Memorial Family,

As we come to the close of October's Pastor Appreciation Month, Pastor Rachel and I want to extend our heartfelt thanks for the many cards, notes, gifts, and expressions of kindness we have received. Your generosity, encouragement, and prayers are a constant reminder of what a blessing it is to serve alongside this congregation. We are grateful not only for your support during Pastor Appreciation Month, but for the ways you continually share Christ's love throughout the year. Thank you for helping make Memorial such a faithful and caring community.

I also want to express my gratitude to those who have already returned their stewardship commitment cards. Stewardship is about far more than a budget. It is a response to God's faithfulness and a reflection of the covenant we share with God and one another. To date, we have received 156 commitments toward our goal of 210. Thank you for your prayerful participation in this important season of discernment and generosity.

As we move through November, our worship life will center around a series focused on gratitude. Together, we will explore what it means to give thanks in every season of life, not only when circumstances are good, but also in times of uncertainty, challenge, and change. Scripture reminds us that gratitude is rooted not in our circumstances but in God's enduring faithfulness. From remembering those who have shaped our faith, to trusting God's daily provision, to finding hope even when life feels uncertain, we will discover how gratitude can become a way of life.

I hope you will join us in worship as we continue this journey together, giving thanks for God's presence among us and seeking to become a people whose lives bear witness to that gratitude every day.

Blessings,

Pastor Angie
