The Barnabas Center
Barnabas Center serves as Nassau County’s only comprehensive service center, fully dedicated to empowering those in need to become healthy, thriving citizens. They consider ourselves a hope delivery system in that we are committed to providing individuals and families with the support they need to enhance their stability, health and overall well-being.
Through our diverse range of services – which include nutrition services, empowerment programs and health services – the Barnabas Center empowers residents to overcome challenges and flourish within the community.

Weekly Non-Perishable Food Donations
The food pantry at Barnabas is always thankful for donations of non-perishable, shelf stable food items. You can bring them to worship each Sunday and place them in the silver bins.
Annual Citrus
Drive in January
Memorial members collect unneeded fruit from the trees of local residents and donate the fresh fruit to the Barnabas Food Pantry. Look for details on the Citrus Drive coming out in December.
Pasta Drive
Each September, we collect a special offering of boxes of dried pasta to donate to the Barnabas Food Pantry. Dry pasta is a great shelf-stable item for the food pantry to stock up on!
