Our new worship series begins this Sunday!
We'll explore how beauty connects us with the heart of God. Using “beauty” that touches all of our senses, like music, visual arts, poetry, and scripture, we’ll discover that connection to God’s heart together each week in creative and inspiring ways in worship!

Thursday Class:
Along with this worship series, a very special class will be offered on Thursdays at 3PM beginning January 29th in the music suite behind the Sanctuary. Pastor Charlie, Rev. Linda Hart Green, Dr. Anna Wright, and Dr. Joan will be leading this class together and diving deeper into the ways that we can connect with God through beauty, art, music and more. Please RSVP by emailing rsvp@mumconline.com or
calling the church office.
Day-Retreat at Riverside Park UMC:
The highlight of this series is a retreat at beautiful Riverside Park UMC in Jacksonville, Saturday, February 7th from 10am-3pm. Take a day away from it all to be surrounded in beauty and further explore how it can connect us with God.
This retreat will include times of worship, music, and studying the gorgeous stained-glass windows at the church. This will be followed by breakout sessions to help you connect through different forms of beauty that touches you most. There will be sessions including prayerful walking in the labyrinth, walking to and exploring the Cummer museum, poetry writing, breath work, gentle yoga, and the prayerful craft practice. Choose the sessions that connect with you most.

A catered lunch of sandwiches, salads, and soups will be provided for a cost of $10 per person which is paid at the door that day. And the church bus will be available for those who need a ride from Memorial.
