Welcome!
Thank you for visiting the MUMC website.
Here at Memorial UMC, we take our mission very seriously: To Make Disciples of Jesus Christ through our Worship, Study, Service and Community! It is our belief that faith is a journey! It is an ongoing relationship with Jesus Christ! We also believe that faith is a verb. Discipleship is something that we do, not just on Sundays, but every day and every moment of our lives.
We believe in inviting others to this faith journey through positive means; connecting others with the love and grace of Jesus Christ and the call that He has on their lives. We believe in reaching out in service, particularly to the poor and the least of these. One of the things that you will often hear us lift up as a goal is to be the “hands and feet of Christ” for the community and for the world
We also have many classes, small groups and programs aimed at developing our spiritual lives. Last, our worship is more than simply coming on Sunday. We strive to have passionate worship that connects people with the risen Lord. We very much believe that Christ is present and trying to speak to our lives. In response, we are to put our faith into action!
Our calling is a great one, and our family is bread for the journey! Come and join us!
Christ's peace
